I had been abusing his blinds and he had been calling me to see flops.  I couldn’t imagine how this board could have helped him unless he had a low to mid pp.  But with how active I was, I figured he would shove pre-flop with something like that.  So I figured he puts me on air and he’s shoving to take the pot down.  I give these people way too much credit.  The best part is his analysis of my play after the hand:

Now obviously it’s a $1 donkament, so maybe I should just be playing straightforward raise 3x poker at all times, but I want him to be calling me with K2o 24/7/365.

I don’t know if I could have played this hand differently.  If I flat call and hit the king on the flop, we’re probably all getting our money in anyways.  If I reraise, maybe I can fold if they both push, but even then I gotta believe I’m in a coinflip situation against something like QQ-10s, AQ.

Obviously I’m way behind before the flop, but after the flop I’m looking good with the nut flush draw and an ace.  When I hit the “Jokerstars Ace” on the turn, biodj is down to 1 out and daddy is down to 2.  I think Daddy’s call is horrible, but it is a $1 MTT.  I couldn’t believe the horrible play I saw in the $0.5 MTT last night.  People were limping with 9/10s and then calling an all-in for 10-20 big blinds.

Luckily for me Jun is a good player and knew a little about how I play, and knew that I would play A/10 (and even a set) the same way.  Anyone else in this situation doesn’t think about this, instapushes, and I go broke because you can’t lay down 2 pair at this level.  You’ll see too many top pair top kicker or worse show up in this spot.  Now if Jun comes over the top and pushes, I have enough respect for him that I may lay this down.

I totally F’ed up a TSNG last night too.  Wasn’t running too well in these so I really needed to play this hand differently to at least make sure that I cashed.  Although, I will make this play 99.5% of the time 4 handed and pass this off as horrible luck.  First is the hand prior to the bad beat where I double up off of the short stack.
